Walking around it, I couldn’t stop taking pictures (pro tip: go in the late afternoon for that magical golden hour light!). The reflections on the glass panels are stunning, and it gives the whole place this futuristic vibe without taking away from the museum’s rich history. Inside, it’s bright, airy, and feels like a grand entrance to the treasure trove of art waiting below.
I love how it combines tradition and innovation. It’s a reminder that embracing change doesn’t mean forgetting where you came from—something we can all relate to!
Highly recommend visiting, whether you’re an art lover or just want a cool backdrop for your next profile picture. Trust me, the pyramid won’t disappoint!

My advice would be to take your time and wander through the galleries, discovering hidden gems and lesser-known works that are equally beautiful

You will need more than 3 hours to see all the rooms. It gets pretty crowded specially when you wanna see the Mona Lisa.
Unfortunately there are not enough bathrooms for the amount of people.
The gift shop is pretty expensive.

By the way, did it with a different employee and went in.
The place is overcrowded making it even more exhausting. This place is not your average stroll but a war zone to see important art pieces.
Be prepared if you want to go. Do not buy water here, the lines for the cafes are ridiculously long. Remember to bring your water.
Anyways one star, Museum can do better by moving the some important pieces somewhere else. So the museum is less crowded.
