Louvre Museum

Amazing place to visit. Don’t forget to take the free map when you’re entering otherwise it’s easy to get lost and wander around without knowing what you’re looking at. Also, didn’t find the audio guide that helpful. Each audio is like 1-2mins minimum. It’d take months for you to hear about everything. My favourite part of the museum was “Napoleon’s Residence” and obviously the “Monalisa”. When you exit the museum, you’ll go out through a huge mall as well, they have food there too. Overall one of the greatest museum experiences that you can have. Needless to say.

Definitely purchase your tickets in advance. The wait to get in was long and it was cold outside and that’s with advanced tickets. But once you entered, it was well worth it. The art showcased was amazing. Visiting the Mona Lisa was breathtaking. There is a huge crowd surrounding her but most people just snap a pic and move on so getting to the front was not an issue, just very crowded.

The greatest museum humanity has to offer.

I thought the hermitage museum is Russia was the best the world had. I was so wrong.

We got our timed tickets for 9am, and waited in the secret underground line to avoid the cold weather. You go under an escalator and line up underneath the reverse pyramid. You can google it for a guide!

We were there at 8 with only a couple people ahead of us, and saw the Mona Lisa in a near empty room.

With that out of the way we spent 4h and 40,000 steps walking around and precariously standing near tour guides. I wish we paid for a guide ourselves!

The marble sculptures were what I went for, and it was jaw dropping. Eat before or after though.

The audio while hard to understand at first, was very useful and told us a lot about the museum. Of course the Mona Lisa was great! But less busy than I though so that was pretty good
