Louvre Museum

There are no words to describe a visit in Louvre museum. You can see objects from all over the world came from different eras. Also famous paintings from the best creators. Book a ticket in advance is strongly recommended. The only negative side of my visit was the staff. I am very disappointed from the attitude of museum’s employees. They were rude and didn’t like to help guests. The most of them don’t speak English and wouldn’t like to communicate with any way on guest’s requests.

We purchased tickets ahead of time with an entry time as well as date. Line went very fast. Beautiful museum, very large. We did the audio guide which is very helpful…. saw the Mona Lisa- what a sight!

I didn’t realize there are two entrances into the Louvre. It was beautiful to see all the art work. Most of the famous pieces had a long line or large crowd around them. Mona Lisa specifically. It was an experience. I wouldn’t go back inside because of how busy it was.

We took a guided tour for the Louvre and it was fab but you don’t need one if you’re not bothered. It did help to skip the queues though as it was extremely busy getting in. Had a fantastic time going through the rooms, you could spend so much time looking at everything it’s unbelievable. Definitely a must!

I know many people who have visited in the past, and each of them said that they did not have enough time. I agree. If you have your heart set on visiting and love art, I would recommend starting as soon as they open and stay until they close. There is so so much to see and experience. and this is something not to be rushed. We did manage to see the Mona Lisa, and while this was a must see, the crush of people and limited time allowed to view it, ruined the experience of seeing this painting. This is a must see, but if you have visions of standing in front of this painting for an extended period of time trying to memorize the details of the work, you will be disappointed. We did not manage to see the whole museum, but one of my favorites was the Egyptian exhibit. Special Notes Buy you tickets in advance, if you want to buy same day or even same week you will most likely be disappointed with your time slot, if you even get one. The museum could use better signage to get around, get a map and get your bearings before wandering around trying to find your must see exhibit. Leave the museum in the evening, or make sure you visit after nightfall, the lighting outside is spectacular.
